Founded in 1982 by owner and founder, Shahraz Kassam, Shamin grew to become one of the most trusted jewellers in the city of Vancouver by 1990. Opening in Metrotown, Surrey and Richmond in the 1990's Shamin became a household name for fine jewellery. In mid 1990's Shamin started closing the smaller stores and opened a Mega Jewellery Superstore called Shamin Galleria in Metrotown Mall. It was the largest independent jewellery store in the Province. In 2007, Shamin moved out of the Metropolis Mall and opened across the street on Kingsway. In 2014, the Kingsway location was closed and now Shamin Diamonds has opened a new boutique style showroom in the very busy Payal Plaza in Surrey.
Our Surrey showroom is open for your viewing pleasure Wednesdays to Saturdays 11:30 to 5:30 and Sundays 12 to 5:30. Evening showings are by appointment only.
Please note that Shahraz has been appointed to the Provincial Small Business Task Force and is away for provincial meetings throughout the month. Please call first just in case Shahraz is out of town.
